Ekadeshma Balakharuko Sangalo

Description

The book 'Ekadeshma', published by His Majesty's Government, Ministry of Education and Sports, Curriculum Development Centre, is an important work in the collection of Nepali children's stories. The compilation and rewriting of this book was done by litterateur Usha Dixit. The first edition of the book was published in 2002 AD (2059 BS). The stories in this book aim to provide both entertainment and moral education to children. The cover design and layout of the book were done by Navindra Raj Bhandari, while the illustrations were done by Avindraman Shrestha. This book is considered an important pillar of Nepali children's literature.

श्री ५ को सरकार, शिक्षा तथा खेलकुद मन्त्रालय, पाठ्यक्रम विकास केन्द्रद्वारा प्रकाशित पुस्तक 'एकादेशमा' नेपाली बालकथा सङ्ग्रहको एक महत्वपूर्ण कृति हो। यस पुस्तकको सङ्कलन तथा पुनर्लेखन साहित्यकार उषा दीक्षितले गरेकी छिन्। पुस्तकको पहिलो संस्करण २०५९ सालमा प्रकाशित भएको थियो।
यस पुस्तकमा रहेका कथाहरूले बालबालिकालाई मनोरञ्जनका साथै नैतिक शिक्षा दिने उद्देश्य राख्दछन्। पुस्तकको आवरण तथा रूपविन्यास नवीन्द्र राजभण्डारीले गरेका हुन् भने चित्राङ्कन अवीन्द्रमान श्रेष्ठले गरेका हुन्। यो पुस्तक नेपाली बालसाहित्यको एउटा महत्वपूर्ण आधार स्तम्भ मानिन्छ।
